Since 1979, AL-KO has been at the forefront of motorhome and commercial vehicle chassis conversions. Over 70,000 approved conversions have been commissioned throughout our manufacturing facilities in England, Germany, France and Italy.

AL-KO replaces the original manufacturer’s chassis with a lightweight, galvanised steel chassis conversion, employing state-of-the art engineering techniques to considerably improve ride comfort, road holding and to allow increased payloads.

The AL-KO automotive chassis conversion (amc) can be used by original equipment manufacturers to create purpose built commercial vehicles or a wide variety of motorhomes.

Increased Payloads:

The proven AL-KO chassis saves additional weight in comparison with the original vehicle chassis; this ensures additional payloads can be achieved.

Larger Vehicle Mass :

By offering some 10 wheelbase variations and two different track widths, larger internal volumes are created for your specified body.

Low Chassis Height:

By reducing the chassis height achieves a low centre of gravity, which improves road holding and cornering performance.

Trailing Link Axle with Torsion Bar Suspension :

A well positioned torsion bar suspension replaces the original leaf springs and provides balanced weight distribution and improves drive and axle traction.

Corrosion Protection:
The AL-KO chassis is hot-dip galvanised and the welded chassis flange connections are wax injected to ensure longevity.
